Introduction: In 1999, General Motors acquired the trademark usage rights and production rights of Hummer. In 2003, the H2 was launched, designed by General Motors and entrusted to AM General for production, manufacturing, and marketing. In 2004, the H2 SUT pickup truck and the H2 SUV off-road vehicle were introduced. In 2008, the restyled H2 was released at the New York Auto Show. In 2009, with General Motors going bankrupt, the production of the Hummer H2 was halted.
